Wow, which “slave” is being offered a whopping 120,000 pounds per week ?
Even now if there are “slaves” living on the earth, ( of course without the consent of the Human rights Org ) I don’t think that their wages would even surpass 10 pounds per week?
Besides the “so-called damned star player” only happen to claim it after what the FIFA’s president Sepp Blatter had mentioned earlier.
It is high time Manchester United to get rid of him, and get a good-profitable return by disposing him.
And also FIFA should monitor that Ronaldo should pay quite a hefty sum for breaching his 4 year contract with Man Utd….
This is a first time in football history, a so called star player with the worst ever attitude.
Whether the so called damned star player happens to shine or rot is none of our concern anymore, but I doubt he will shin .. due to his attitude ..
----------------------News extract--------------------------
CRISTIANO RONALDO triggered a wave of disgust throughout football yesterday by shamefully claiming: I AM a slave!
The Manchester United star, who is desperate to join Real Madrid, seized on comments made by world soccer’s supremo Sepp Blatter.
He claimed that Ronaldo should be allowed to leave United, tearing up his four-year contract, and that making him stay was like slavery.
But while the rest of the football world was horrified to read the FIFA president’s comments in SunSport, Ronaldo decided to back him.
He declared: 的 agree 100 per cent with what he said. He is right.・
Ronaldo currently earns 」120,000 a week at Old Trafford, lives in a 」4million mansion, has ordered an 」835,000 Bugatti Veyron and is close to agreeing a new 」23million Nike sponsorship deal!
Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady, appalled at the views of Blatter, rapped: Slaves? That’s not a word I’d use. I think I’d use mercenaries.
"We are talking of players earning six figures a week who want to ignore their contracts.・

The Star Players' Menace
Latest Football news from TheSun.com.uk
1 Gunners eye Adebayor stay...
2 Inter in Lamps plea to Roman...
3 Ronaldo Anarchy..
Well it seems that the Main Clubs of EPL having problems from neighbouring country's Top Clubs' Quest in pursuing for their star players.
Manchester United from Real Madrid for Ronaldo;
Chelsea from Inter Milan for Lampard; and
Arsenal from AC Milan/Barcelona for Adebayor
The only main club of EPL that free or this headache is Liverpool.....Lucky is it??!!
No pursuers for Torres for the moment...
Anyhow what do you guys ( & girls ) reckon in this matter?
As for me I personally think that Red Devils, Blues, and Gunners should allow their star players to shift clubs, as the players had already shown interest in the transfer. But not without a hefty sum.....
Then by using the amount, cash in more youngbloods ( 2 or 3 upcoming players ).
Who knows.... they might become a much valuable players in future as compared to the star players whom they think they are about to lose now...( same as how these star players rise to stardom )
Anyhow, new season are just around the corner, so decisions should be made without delays.....
Finally, Let's get Rockin' on 2008/2009!!!!

Buttons
An interesting fact that i bet most of us would have overlooked all these years. Why are buttons on women's clothes placed on the left side while men's are on the right?
Chelsea FC vs Malaysia FC
Well it seems that Chelsea FC will be having an Asia Tour in July 2008, and would be playing a friendly match with Malaysia FC on 29th July 2008 at Stadium Shah Alam.

Chelsea will start the tour from Kuala Lumpur playing on July 29 against a Malaysian all-star team, which to be comprised of the best players from the local Super League. Madrid And Marca In Ronaldo Limbo
Manchester United have discussed which players they could sign with the money from the possible sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Marca.
Sir Alex Fergsuon held his first meeting with club officials since returning from holiday and the subject of the Portuguese star was discussed openly. The report in Marca, which has been at the forefront of the push for Ronaldo to join Madrid, appears to be designed to reassure Madrid fans in the light of the club's possible failure to land their man.Ronaldo is still on holiday and the club are refusing to ring him to discuss the situation for fear of it being conceived as a sign of weakness, the story states. If he were to leave, then the first player that would be approached is Dimitar Berbatov, who Tottenham would let leave for a starting price of €35m.Despite claims in England that the north London club are loathe to sell to United, Marca have rehashed the Red Devils' interest as the pressure mounts on a deal for Ronaldo being done. The exit of Berbatov would, in turn, allow Juande Ramos to then make higher bids for Samuel Eto'o or David Villa, despite the former claiming he did not want to go to Spurs and the latter set to stay with Valencia.Marca are convinced that United will continue to put on a brave face until they realise that Ronaldo is determined to leave.Madrid president Ramón Calderón has made the player his main aim this summer and his reputation, despite two league titles, could hang on succeeding in this bid. After promising to sign Cesc Fàbregas, Kaká and Arjen Robben, the arrival of only the injury-prone Dutchman has left many Madrid fans disgruntled with him.
